A cluster industry/occupational program that provides for a sequence of secondary technical core planned courses in Tech Prep. This program prepares individuals to apply knowledge and skills in the production industries field. Instruction is provided in the basic skills in a variety of areas associated with production industries such as metalwork machine operation and numerical control machine operation. Instruction includes, but is not limited to, blueprint reading, communications, computer operation, planning the sequence of work, use of measuring instruments, metalworking, machine operations, computer programming, welding and mechanical drawing.
