The Internet has become a source for an
incredible amount of information available to anyone with a computer
and access to the internet. You name the topic and there will be
information on the internet related to that topic. Of course, one
of those areas is Tech Prep and sites containing related
information. The following is a listing of a few Tech Prep
related sites.
United States Department of Education/ Office of Vocational and
Adult Education (OVAE)
The OVAE website
provides information, research, and resources to help prepare young
people and adults for postsecondary education, successful careers
and productive lives.
Center
for Occupational Research and Development (CORD)
CORD is a national
non-profit organization providing innovate changes in education to
prepare students for greater success in careers and higher
education. CORD assists educators in secondary schools and colleges
through new curricula, teaching strategies, professional development
and partnerships with community leaders, families and employers.
National Tech
Prep Network (NTPN)
NTPN is a membership
organization for educators and employers involved in the advancement
of Tech Prep and related education reform initiatives. NTPN assists
in planning, implementing, evaluating and improving Tech Prep
programs by pooling the resources of the country’s leading
practitioners to provide a network of communication for new and
existing programs.
