A cluster industry/occupational program that provides for a sequence of "secondary" technical core planned courses in Tech Prep. It provides students with a broad foundation in business technology and will allow students to explore various postsecondary major fields of study and career paths. Students will receive basic instruction in areas that include, but are not limited to, computer information sciences and systems, telecommunications, network management, system architecture, accounting, data processing, and systems analysis. Students will be taught technical writing, project management, and an overview of contemporary computer languages on current computer platforms. Students will be introduced to the business discipline and its relationship to information and communication technologies.
